The original clutch of the V-Max 1700 reaches ist limits when the motorcycle is fully accelerated. In combination with the wrong engine oil the clutch slips even earlier.
We have the solution for slipping clutches on the new V-Max 1700's. Is a new pressure plate with 6 screws springs which increases the pressure by about 50% on the clutch pack. Suitable for tuned engines. Always use the correct oil, see article 991C and do not forget Clutch Cover Gasket 906D when ordering. Attention: The manual force to operate the clutch increases by approx. 20%. |
