A big problem with the V-Max 1200!
If the motorcycle is not used for a long timeand left with empty or half full tank, the tank catches rust on the inside. The rust then moves with the gas through the filter, from the gasoline pump into the carburetor. After a short time the bike is running not really well any more, because the tiny rust particles the have clogged the nozzles. We de-rust the tank and coat its inside new with a gasoline resistant resin. You send us your tank on prior agreement and get a revised on back from us. |
