The original 15-liter tank of the new V-Max 1700 is a little bit small. On a longer run permanent refueling is somewhat annoying, so we have developed a new tank with ca. 24 liters capacity (we were able to redesign the previous 22 liter tank version gaining approx. 24 liters). It is mounted in place of the stock tank and replaces it.
Version 1: The basic version of the tank is made of aluminum, for painting or plastic coating yourself, and without TÜV certificate. We deliver the tank with assembly instructions and modification drawing for altering the tool holder plate under the left seat side cover as well as the wheel arch. With guaranteed accuracy. Assembly time approx. 4 to 5 hours. |
