Vmax models from 1985 to 2007 often use a 27 Watts flasher sensor (which can be found beneath the left air scoop, output is stated on the unit). In this case you will need this article anyway. If a 21 Watts flasher sensor is installed, you will the this item only if flashers with less then 21 Watts (like most LED) are used. Otherwise the flashing frequency will be wrong.
The new flasher unit will be wired in addition to the stock unit, an installation manual is included. |
